Fried tofu with a tangy teryaki based sauce with mushrooms. Goes well with any greens.
Ingredients
1/2 block of tofu
2 spring onions
3 cloves garlic
1 thumb size piece of ginger
Half punnet of chestnut mushrooms
The Sauce
3tbsp teriyaki sauce
1tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp maple syrup
1tsp gochujaru chilli flakes
Sesame seeds to garnish.
Directions
1) Drain and pat dry tofu with kitchen towel and cut into cubes.
2) Air fry 15 mins at 200, or fry in pan until golden brown.
3) Heat neutral oil and then lightly fry spring onions, garlic and ginger until fragrant.
4) Chop mushrooms and add to pan, fry until browned, then add tofu and edamame.
5) Mix together the sauce in a bowl, then pour onto the tofu and veg, mix to coat. Fry for 1-2 mins.
Top with sesame seeds and serve with rice.
